Hello! We are going to have a spooky great time by making a freestanding pumpkin. Please visit Between Stitches website’s class calendar and click on the class. There you will find our affiliate link for OESD and this pumpkin design. You will need to purchase the download from OESD. Make sure you download the design on a flash drive and verify that it is working on your sewing machine before coming to class. Also, don’t forget to print out the directions and bring them to class with you. Please read my supply list carefully as we will be making these pumpkins a little bit differently than what the directions state. You will choose which pumpkin design you would like to make. Page 17 of the OESD directions tells you of all the materials you will need. Go over that and buy accordingly. Don’t forget to use Between Stitches affiliate link to purchase from OESD if we are out of anything needed. Remember, Kimberbell procucts will work in this project as well. OESD calls for AquaMesh WashAway, StabilStick TearAway, and BadgeMaster. BadgeMaster is optional and we WILL NOT be using it. You can either use OESD AquaMesh WashAway and StabilStick TearAway or Kimberbell’s Wash-Away and Sticky-Back Tear-Away stabilizers. Make sure wash-away stabilizer is the mesh type. Pay close attention to the rest of Pg. 17 Materials list in the instructions for additional items. A hemostat/alligator clamp type tool is a game changer. It’s worth the price of buying it. Pages 18 & 19 lists each pumpkin and the fabric you will need. Fabric Kits will not be made for this class since everyone will be choosing which pumpkin they will make in class. I suggest buying OESD battery powered tealights as well. If we are out of stock, again please use the affiliate link for OESD to order those.
