Bowl Fillers! Have you ever cross-stitched with your embroidery machine? Do you like to decorate according to the season/month? Is decorating just too much in your fast paced world? Bowl fillers are a great way to decorate in a simple dish or in a more elaborate tier tray. Bowl fillers also make a nice addition to dining room centerpieces and wreaths to give you the vibe of the season/holiday. If you have an embroidery machine, come join us. Come to class with the design purchased from San Fransisco Stitch Co, scrap fabrics for the backing, fusible woven interfacing, 14ct Aida cloth (cotton can be used instead), stuffing, sewing needles, and embroidery thread. A special sit and sew day! The 5th Tuesday will be a special sit and sew day to use our beautiful shop classroom to work on projects. Only $25 to sew from 10 - 7. Make this time a mini retreat with your friends! No instructor for this class.

Join us for a basic sewing class for ages 8 and older. This beginning class will focus on understanding the basic fundamentals of sewing by machine and 6 projects will be made. This class includes the use of shop provided modern Janome sewing machines. The class will be limited to 6 students so the staff can provide more individual attention to each student. Parents are welcome to stay during class time. Projects included are: Chicken pincushion, Pillowcase, Tea towel apron, Drawstring backpack, T-shirt pillow, Pajama pants.

Basic sewing experience helpful. Students will learn the basic skills of making a quilt including accurate cutting, piecing, and assembly of the quilt on a domestic sewing machine. You will have all the skills to move on to the next your next quilting project! They will have their own 43" x 60" quilt to sleep under at the end of the week! Book and fabric kit included as well as use of shop provided Janome sewing machines. (please note: Pictured design only and not fabric. Students will choose their own fabric for the project)

Here's a fun break from your regular sewing. Learn to make rope trivets and bowls. Using cotton cord, thread and some fabric learn the basics of this popular craft. You will make a trivet or coaster and a bowl during this class.

This class we will go through 3 weeks of different sewing techniques and in the final week we will make a project to culminate all your learning!

* Class registration can be made on line or in-store
* Seats are limited. Payment is required at registration.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment will be cancelled at least 24 - 48 hours before class
* If the shop needs to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, the class will be rescheduled. If the class cannot be rescheduled, a refund will be issued in its original tender.
*Cancellation by student 48 hours before class will be given store credit.

Classroom Etiquette
*Please show up 15 minutes early to set up. Classes will begin on time.
